Venice, Italy β famous for its canals, gondolas, and centuries-old beauty β is facing a future that may not include it at all. Rising sea levels, flooding, and land subsidence are putting the city at risk of vanishing much sooner than scientists once thought.
The MOSE barrier project and other defenses offer some protection, but many experts warn they may only buy time rather than provide a permanent solution. With climate change accelerating, the question is becoming urgent: Can Venice be saved, or are we only delaying the inevitable?
π I put together this short video exploring whatβs happening: [https://youtube.com/shorts/YESwJUrb3Ac?si=W9lBin6ljOo1yNUy]
π¬ What do you think β will Venice survive the next century, or will it become one of historyβs greatest lost cities?

Meh. I’m sure there’s an engineering solution they can spring a few bucks for.
Would I save Venice? No. That’s a decision for the Italian government.
