Insulting Polish president is a free speech issue. Firing journalists over this is censorship.

Bardzo dobrze. Ja rozumiem, że wybór nie wszystkim się podobał. Sam nie głosowałem na obecnego prezydenta. Natomiast jest prezydentem RP i z tego tytułu należy mu się odpowiedni szacunek.

Journalists are prohibited from criticizing politicians now?
He didn’t ,,insult” him, he simply allured to his alleged criminal past.

I have heard more heavy insults against Nawrocki on a daily basis than whatever “pachan” is supposed to mean.
And that someone actually uses this as an argument that the already long requirement of 10 years of legal residence in Poland should somehow be extended is more heinous than any personal insult thrown at a Polish official.
Sure, people should be civil, especially journalists, but anything bar direct libel or severe slander is hardly a crime.

He can go talk shit about his politicians.

I don’t like the current president, and if he does something stupid I’ll probably say even worse things about him myself, but we should expect more from TV employees than just yelling insults on air. Comments like that can be saved for later for social media and such.
He shouldn’t be fired tho, censorship can go fk itself
