    1. I don’t speak German so I cannot really talk about what they say other than the summary of the article, but there is one very important thing about Spain.

For the past 30 years, ever since a woman went on a TV talk show to say calmly that she was sure her husband would kill him and there was nothing nobody would do just to end up burnt a few weeks later, people have been very aware of this problem. There are government departments at all levels (local, provincial and national) dedicated to stopping this and this is national news every week.

Yet despite all this the number of feminicides has decreased only 10% in the last 20 years.

So, saying as the text says, something like “in Spain they track the position of the aggressors” as if that would change anything is laughable. This is, unfortunately, an extremely complex problem with very very very difficult solutions.

      A few things to clarify:

1: « feminicide » is a misused word. In 99% of cases, it should be « conjugal homicide ». These women weren’t killed because they were women, but because they were in a relationship (past or present).

2: in 2024, 19 people died of conjugal violence in Switzerland. 17 women and 2 men. So it is not purely man-on-woman murders happening.

3: foreign men are overrepresented among the murderers. In 2019, they commited 61% of the conjugal homicides while only being 25% of the total population.

Domestic violence is a very serious issue, but thing won’t improve if we keep not facing facts because of our ideology.

    3. Femicide would be murder BECAUSE the victim was a woman.
Not every murder against a woman is a femicide.

Murders against women are mostly domestic violence.

Men are murdered much more often than women. The overwhelming majority of murder victims are men.

      A point to think:

Above 60% of all Murders against women are committed by foreigners while being 25% of the population.

This means we could fight that form of crime by better educating the foreign citizens and set higher expectations for assimilation!

Make it stronger clear that we will not accept parallel-culture or subcultures and make action to make immigrants assimilate better and assume our own cultural values better.

That includes the attitude towards women, respectful behaviour and non-violent conflict-solving.

This seems like the single point of action that would yield the most effect.

      Not just Integration – assimilation

Femicide is a sexist term, it ignores the majority of murders and with that, implies that only women are relevant. Which of course and obviously is the case for the toxic feminists, to them men are the only reason for all evil in this world.

    5. I wonder what the number of unknown regarding domestic violence cases is. I guess in some cultures this is just normal and endured by the women

    6. We should protect people more from homicide, no shit sherlock.

I think throwing more money at it isnt the right thing to do tho. Apart from femicide being the wrong name for it obviously.

You can decrease them by over half by getting rid of foreigners. Then try to decrease the rest by adding information on where to get help and what to do in such situations more in media and schools (where appropriate). If this is was done i think itd be important to make it gender neutral. Painting men to always be the agressors would just lead to them denying whatever is told to them, which is again, why is believe femicide is a stupid term for such murders.
