These are just examples as over the last couple of months. I have been seeing alot of content or comments saying that poland is very racist and all around it seems like those people have a personal hate towards the poles than anything ealse, it just makes me sad that people can’t respect others

    1. Russian psyop coming to collect. The entire Belarusian border crisis has been engineered for this explicit purpose.

    2. And that’s not the end of its advantages.

But seriously – protecting own culture and safety is not racism. Never been. Don’t try to convince me I’m wrong, because you wont.

Just listened to a podcast in which it was mentioned how the guest (a scholar from Cambridge) was exposed to such attacks after she twitted about being finished with her PhD paper. They didn’t like the topic (it was about smell….) most of them came from men from the US. Telling her how she’s wasting federal founds etc Again, she’s British.
IE. If those people are even real, their IQ is well below 80 but sadly they’ve been given an access to the internet and we think they must be like us, like everybody else. Nope. They’re morons. If they had lobotomy, they and you wouldn’t even notice.

    5. I’m convinced a lot of Western Europeans and especially Americans have some hackneyed view of Poland as like a backwards, dysfunctional country where everyone wears tracksuits, walks down the street with vodka in hand, and yells „kurwa pierdole!” at random beavers in a drunken rage. Even people who claim to *like* Poland think it’s some charmingly backwards quaint place, and to be honest it really pisses me off.

Of course, said people who have never actually *been* to Poland and seen clean cities, courteous and reserved people, functioning government services, charming architecture, and a hardworking desire to make their home continuously better, will stew in their own ignorance of the place unless told otherwise. Sure, Poland is overall more culturally conservative than much of Europe and parts of the U.S. (but even then it’s Polska A is more liberal, but I digress), and Poland has a much more restrictive policy around immigration than many European countries (and of course there is xenophobia and nativism in Poland), but that doesn’t mean the average Pole is like hopelessly racist.

In a lot of ways, I think some Western Europeans and Americans pick on Poland to compensate for their own historical guilt surrounding racism and colonialism. America enslaved people and still incarcerates formerly enslaved people at horrific rates, France brutally colonized Haiti and West Africa, Britain brutally colonized multiple areas of the world, Germany colonized Europe in one of the worst atrocities in human history, etc.

Meanwhile, what has Poland done historically? Poland aided Haiti in freeing people! Poland didn’t succeed and didn’t even really try to brutally colonized faraway places. Poland has mostly kept to itself and not done harm to various other corners of the world, yet Western Europeans and Americans have the *gall* to call Poles racist when they’re living in societies deeply and painfully shaped by centuries of horrific racism that Poland mostly stayed out of. It’s deflection, full stop.

Maybe because social medias are full of morons and hypocrytes? I guess, that most of people from abroad commenting racism issue in Poland will not be able to show it on map, have no idea about polish culture and traditions. Fact, that someone writes Poland is most racist country in world means, he knows shit about our country.
Poles in general are tolerant torward anyone who lives here respecting our culture and law, being decent despite of skin colour.
As in ay other country in world, there are morons and assholes in Poland who may act unfriendly to other races, but it is minority.

These are TikTok comments, I don’t think you could find a user base more chronically online and brain dead than them. They see one bit of satire of Poland being racist and then like the complicit bots they are, they become an echo chamber because they saw one random ass video about it.

I would trust Saul Goodman to not con me before I ever take any bit of information from the TikTok comment section.

Well as an Indian let me tell u why this has been circulating
It’s just the benifitng and rightful decison of yall’s , just banning illegal immigration which totally is right imo
And the second is the propoganda spreaders’s comment section where poles kids tend to be proud of being racist by saying slurs like pajeet , n word , 🧃or bombers which 🙂 anyway love from India
      Long live indo-polish relation :))

In the UK, Poles are the second largest foreign nationality in prison, not number one. And even then it’s due to the sheer number of Poles as the incarceration rate is 1.19 per 1,000 Polish nationals. The largest foreign nationality prison population are Albanians, with an incarceration rate of 60.62 per 1,000 foreign nationals. Not trying to say that Albanians are inherently violent or trying to spread hate towards Albanians, just saying that the person in the second picture isn’t the brightest tool in the shed.

Did those morons actually use British jails as an example? They are the country that arrests people for tweeting that they dislike certain politicians, treats it’s citizens and outsiders differently, favours those outsiders and let’s fucking child predator gangs run free. While I like the actual Brits, nowadays you just can’t treat their country seriously anymore. Last time I’ve checked, Poland didn’t need teenagers running around with a chef knife and axe to chase off the predators who wanted a piece of her sister

Honestly this isn’t a bad thing in my opinion. If someone makes up their minds because of a commentary on social media, please don’t come. Anyone can google or ask AI if Poland is rly that racist and they will quickly find the 2023 survey done by the European Agency for Human Rights. If you are too lazy or unintelligent to do so, no one needs you here anyways.

This country gate keeps itself 😎 One more reason I didn’t regret moving here. A real hype can be a curse for a country. It’s better if Poland stays a hidden gem 💎

    12. Russian 5th column.
You can say lots of crap about Russian intelligence agencies. The internet troll farms are the ones with very high priority and access to very rich resources.

    13. IgorGirkinStrelkov2 on

Because there are xenophobic ultra-nationalists in Poland who make the entire country look bad

    14. You can find these comments about every country. Racism is everywhere. Unfortunately, Poland just has bad rep online lol

    15. The american misinformed right thinks this is some promised land of right wing politics (lolwut), therefore the misinformed american left hates Poland with a passion.

Hey! I don’t care who agrees or disagrees with my statements, but as a South Asian living amongst Poles in Poznań for so long now, I can say with gratitude and appreciation that I didn’t feel the same way or agree with an ounce of propaganda spread through this post or the comments on the same.

I work with academics and teach. I am exposed to a mix of both young and elder populations. I am not denying that I didn’t face rude behavior from the local population, but let’s face it, it’s the same in my own homeland too! I prefer to call them, in my profession, outliers. The general population is very welcoming and warm. Had I been in their place, or the place of the people who have gone through so much or have been observing so much going on in the neighboring countries, I would be cautious too. People have reservations, doubts, errors in judgement, and prejudice, but I think after all this, they are still very kind.

With my colleagues living in Germany, Italy, France, the UK, and Ireland, I feel very safe and welcomed here in Poland, of course, according to their own accounts or ordeals.

    17. oskar_pawlisz on

nearly half of poland is just really conservative/nationalist and they dont really like immigrants and people from ukraine

    18. Quite simple. It pays off. Those who aim to take advantage of you, control you, have it in their best interest to undermine your standing. And there are many interested parties when it comes to Poland. We appear a soft target.

Frederic the 2nd of prussia (who innitiated the partitions and many other silly wars in europe and is now considered “the great”, the father of german nationstate) slandered Poland before taking action in what ammounted to courtroom gossip … and he minted forfeit polish coin to destabilize economy, but that’s besides the point (although who knows… with euro in the picture).

Worse yet we have a substential fifth column in society and politics, who thinks It’s hip to slander our own. They think it makes them sophisticated, the midwits.

Aad ontop of that some accusations are indeed factual. We don’t want or need migration from ethnically and culturaly discrepent regions of the world, because why would we, so we are vocal about it. But that doesn’t jive with the cookiecutter, Disneyland view of the world, which is very much deluded. We are bound to draw criticism. That’s why we have to be united and strong.

    19. Poland is a great country. It’s clean, beautiful and safe, and the people are nice.
