I too hate Nebraska, don’t blame you for skipping it entirely.

I did a trip just like this a while ago (2017?) curious how long it took and about how much you spent.

Is this a proposal? If so, looks awesome.
As someone who has done some of those miles, I have a couple recommendations. First, don’t miss New Orleans. Just so it. And also, if you’re starting off at the Atlantic, go the one metaphorical extra mile and make it to the pacific. You got options!

Missing the west coast in the summer is a big loss. I would avoid the southeast and add the west.

Going through Lansing in Michigan but managing to skip Grand Rapids and Detroit is such a weird path. Hope you get back to Michigan Sunday to see a little more. LOL

Funny how Canada is used as a shortcut.

Post this in r/roadtrip where you’ll get more comments.
But please search first. Your trip looks very much like some that I have seen a “few” times before

No, no, no… you can’t be that far south and miss New Orleans. A thousand cities in the US all look & feel the same – this is not one of them.
Go there just for the food alone, stay for the architecture and music.

Looks like Russia’s border, where is the Kamchatka peninsula?

It looks like an outline of the upper half of the Democratic Republic of the Congo:
When you hit Mount Rushmore/Devils Tower National Parks, be sure to hit the geographic center of the United States (after Mount Rushmore, but before Devil‘s Tower), it’s not much out of the way and it’ll get you the more scenic route to get to Devils Tower. I did those this summer.
