      It’s a nice apology, he must have paid a lot of money for a professional to write it.

      If you read it and think that it’s fine now, then go watch the video again. Twice.

      He looked at the kid while taking the hat. The kid protested loudly. He hid the hat.

      Does that look like he didn’t realize that the hat was for the kid? Does it not look like he knew, and snatched it anyway?

      It’s not a real apology. A real apology doesn’t make false excuses to save a bit more face.

      And honestly, any written apology would not work here, not really. Nothing speaks louder than actions, and those taken in a heartbeat speak the loudest.

      In this split second he didn’t hesitate to snatch that hat from a child. Nor did he hesitate, nor reflect, in seconds, minutes, or hours after. Only when he realized that this time there might be consequences, he even noticed the issue.

      I don’t know what he would have to do to redeem himself here, honestly.
