Didn’t we see Exodus of American troops from Poland? Or was it just changing bases?

  2. Żołnierze stacjonują źle. Żołnierze się wycofują też źle. Dobrze, że mamy tutaj ekspertów

  3. “If the Poles want it” should be read correctly – “If the Poles pay for it”. He-he-he.

Guys, we might have had finally success in lobbying Trump. The US is becoming weaker, but it is still powerful, and would be nice to have their help for now!

Which European leader should we move to the White House permanently? We can disguise he or she as a nurse.

All good, however this makes some of our politicians lazy in terms of defence and military budgets. There’s an assumptions that “Americans will handle this for is” in case of an issue – well guess fuckjng what, they will not. We still need modern equipment, trained troops with trained reserve and infrastructure to protect civilians (which was neglected for the past 25 years).

Also it’s a deal for Americans cause we’ll pay for all this anyway.

  8. Its weird that people are against it

    * unless we plan to suddenly do a switch to some dunno, full anarcho-state that goes against NATO then those troops are not projecting power against us
    * they are easy to dismiss
    * they anchor american interest in defense thus deterence

Like even when not liking trump what is supposed to be a problem here unless further strings are attached like overpayment

  9. I think if Trump will retire soldier from Baltics, or Romania, Bulgaria will still be pretty bad for Poland also. If he will pull american forces from neighbours…it will be pretty bad. Putin will see that, and he will try to test NATO.

  10. *1000000$ per soldier per month.

And you need to buy another 96 Apache’s of the shelf and 400 more Abrams for triple market price because you’re such a good ally.

  11. I’d say let them come, sure Trump is a cunt but having more American troops here will never not be good IMO.

  12. I think it would be better if Poland and the EU would ensure that thry wouldn’t be dependend on US troops and equipment anymore. This guy could change his mind tomorrow or even decide in an invasion to help our enemies instead of us. It would be like allowing a 5th column into the country. Even moreso then there already are.

  14. After reading this comment section can I say I still can’t believe polish is actually understandable

Isnt it a statement of type: “Maybe send more troops, or put more tarrif, or just forget about it. Whatever, i dont care. How much you pay me? ”

Dont be exited about generic, round statement which could disappear next week.

NATO i artykuł 5 to słowa, obecność wojsk amerykańskich to czyny.
