They’d probably get a bigger share of the vote if he spent the next 6 weeks at home
He’s so gutless that he’s going to cancel the election and quit as PM.
Hapless … an excellent way of describing him. He plainly doesn’t have a clue. Him taking a day off likely makes the actual election workers breath a sign of relief.
And he’ll probably be at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
Calls an election and then immediately takes the weekend off.
He knows he’s cooked and congrats to Leeds on getting promoted

This is an election he completely dictated the timing of. How could he possibly need a strategy session on day 4?
Sunak is very bad at politics. Both strategically, at Comms and in person.
This might almost warrant some kind of pity, if there was any sense of why he’s in politics. He doesn’t seem to have many ideas, let alone some personal mission. Even his personal ambition seems shallow.
It’s like he thought of being head minister as a box he had to tick just like being head boy, and we’ve had to put up with his shit government so he can tick it.
I can’t really credit the rumours of him giving up in some fashion, but he’s so opaque who can really know.
