Instagram has recently started advertising this product to me. It’s supposed to make your water softer, features magnetic attachments, yada yada yada. What really caught my eye is that it looks strikingly like the Dyson hairdryer, design-infringingly so (even more so with the magnetic attachments). The website looks ok, but is surprisingly vague as to the origins and design of the product. The reviews are all very glowing. The company is based in Switzerland, but it’s a holding that deals in "wares of all sorts".
My doubts were confirmed when I saw that the identical product is also sold under the following names:
- Doyoo Pure (they actually sell a Dyson hairdryer copy)
- In the brainstorm& Campaignid = 20416650141 & Adtype = pla & adgroupid = & adid = & dgcidg = cjwkcajwt -_fbhbzeiwa7qyk6 wgljh_4ryhdtgcltjenahtsogvuff65rd9cchdhzxvdvQutqoccqqqavd_bwe & GCLSRC = aw.ds & gad_sour CE = 1 & gad_campaignid = 19971249968 & gbraid = 0aaaaadmcc4nhxl4cxv6Vlmit1whn-jn8 & gclid = cjwkca jwt -_fbhbzeiwa7Qyqyk6wgljhh_4ryhdtgcltjenahtsogvuf65rd9cchdhzxvdvdqutqhocquqavd_bwe) (On Galaxus)
- OhCleany, Julymoda or Filtersonic (on Amazon)
So: is the Swiss PureStream the real deal or is it yet another shoddy Temu product (considering the price)?
