Car park apologises after issuing ‘ridiculous’ £100 fine over 10cm mistake

I think these private parking firms are genuinely contributing to the death of the high street now, and government should step in.

I got a £100 fine when I typed my number plate in wrong (a B not a D) when I was doing jury service. I really got the irony of that justice.

The funny thing is if you do this on your motorbike license exam they will fail you (don’t ask me how I know). And it costs more than that.
