      Pretty sure we renounced the reparations but its still a good way to pressure germans and rally voters

      Why do we never ask for reparations from Russia? They’ve been ruining our economy until at least 1989.

      The scale of crimes, destruction, and plunder committed by Germany in Poland during the war was so immense that, out of a sense of moral responsibility alone, the country should have undertaken to pay reparations.

      Wasn’t there like some sort of treaty in the past where Germany accepts Oder-Nesse border, and Poland doesn’t have to receive any reparations in exchange?
