I know that the results are still coming in, but honestly I have to feel for Erna 🤦🏿♂️. She had one of the most entertaining campaigns ever, working in the warehouse, raving up a rave as a DJ, jumping in the sea etc. But like they say, politics is a game of numbers, the person with the highest numbers wins. I also have to say FrP were serious about this election.

Frp did Trumps playbook and played populist. They didn’t do anything dramatically different.
As far erna, her numbers were never climbing after the whole debacle with her husband.

This result proves how easily people are swayed. Most people hated the sitting coalition 9 months ago, then Jens came back, and everything was forgiven.
Looking forward to the uproar when Jens announces he’s retiring from Norwegian politics, and moves abroad to a top level job at whatever international organization.

I’m old enough to remember Frp being near the minimum number for Parliament. Now they almost won the election. Let’s hope they never get this close again
