I am visiting Gdansk next month and have an important question: can camouflage clothing be worn? I own a German army flecktarn parka as it’s my mai casual coat for colder weather but don’t want to get in trouble

    1. you can wear any camo. as long as that camo doesn’t have any army emblems it’s normal clothing

    2. The law only states that you can’t wear any part of current polish uniform (a.ka wz.10 iirc)

All the former and foreign uniforms can be worn without any consequences

    3. Unless this is a component of a military uniform, it’s legal.

EDIT: Actually, as long as it doesn’t feature insignia it’s legal now. Seems they changed that a bit recently.

    4. Everything aside from current issue uniforms of any Polish services is 100% fine so you’re in the clear

    5. You’re fine, people here often wear flectarn because it’s the cheapest camo clothing available.

I’m wearing that flecktarn jacket for like 10 years nearly everyday. Never had problem with that

    7. No it can’t, but if you wear camouflage, nobody is going to see you so you’re good 🙂

    8. Bundeswehr clothing is very durable and cheap; in Poland it’s a very common choice for anglers and mushroom pickers, and sometimes also for airsoft and paintball players. It’s also seen at construction sites as workwear. Nobody should even pay attention to it, especially if you remove the German flags.
