He clearly does, why on Earth would his French partner buy a house on Clacton of all places. No disrespect.
He said he bought it, only now is backtracking due to the SDLT.

This needs to be investigated along with his employment & business practices around his GB news salary and tax payments.
From the stories in the press it seems he may have avoided lots of tax………….
I feel like *being given a home for free* is of financial significance and if the law here doesn’t make him directly liable for stamp duty, it should probably be changed so it does.
I’d expect Nigel’s financial advisers to be much more clued up than Labour. As much as people want to catch him out, there’s almost no chance they’ll get him with beneficial ownership. It’s just an attempt to smear when he acted within the law.
Now Labour need to focus on doing good things for the country so nobody wants to vote for Nigel, rather than trying to appease the right or attack the frog man. They’ve got a massive majority and 4 more years. If they waste it attacking reform then they never deserve to see power again.
That’s odd. Usually, by now, they’ve pivoted to his position.
You know what, why cant we have people in parliament that are just out for themselves or looking to pay as little amount of tax as possible

Has he ever been there might be more interesting, seems the people of Clacton haven’t seen him since the election.
Its a moral boost to get after Farage for Labour, but its not going to shift people who vote for him. His core message is the deep anxiety of the decline, 18 years worth for the well off areas, 50 years worth for the former industrial heartlands.
Its not a bad thing to show him up, just dont expect it to affect polling.
Yawn! This is a bit pathetic from Labour honestly. Deal with migration and stop distracting. Most people really don’t give a fuck about if Farage and his partner are not tax planning morons and the ones that do are sad little twerps. They’ve obviously gone about this in the same way any normal long committed couple would.
He owns a house, and has now got a house with a co-habitant, with her money. How is that not taxable? If they were married it would be taxed wouldn’t it?
Except he’ll be able to bluff whatever Labour try to pin on him because he will have good financial advisors and generally is just more intelligent under pressure then all of Labour is.

This is such an own goal for Labour.
Labour – “have you done a dodgy with your second home to avoid elevated stamp duty?”
Farage – “No”
Is it a lie? Probably, he lies on a daily basis and has no problem doing it.
Will the media dig up every skeleton they can to take a scalp because they fundamentally hate his party and are afraid he will tax them more? Absolutely not.
So all this will do, is make it “official” that he “Did nothing wrong”… i.e. Give him a platform to tell another lie that the press won’t challenge.
