It’s beyond me how could an educated person change so much for the sake of money or privileges. I mean who’s buying his words when it hasn’t even been a year since he was protesting against the government 😀 But I don’t know how he could think what he’s doing is worth it knowing all the backlash he’s going to receive. Is there a chance that he has a plan? Like maybe he’s just pretending now? And what’s also strange to me is that why does GD want him as a member of their party. How could they trust him after his past and when his own girlfriend has a family member from Natsebi.

There’s two ways to be successful in Georgia: (1) be a koci (2) leave

Unfortunately there’s a lot of people whose sense of principle is not very strong and it’s those kinds of people who get rewarded in today’s system

  2. For your info, Kobakhidze is a very educated person, who studied in Germany, worked for several USAID projects and fluent in English, German and Russian. Consider if a person may genuinely change their mind, and it will become more understandable.

  3. > Is there a chance that he has a plan?

His plan was to get into a position of power, joining the protests and then defecting was a means to that.

  4. All i know about this dude is that he looks like a character from popular georgian tv show.

As for anyone surprised that he switched sides in just a year I sincerely congratulate you for being such a naive person that you think there are 2 sides (good and bad) in Georgian politics right now.

Asshole. Nobody likes traitors, even Kocis denounced him. He’s gonna be known as an asshole his whole life now
