One of the leaders of the largest opposition party, Khabeishvili, was arrested for.. *checks notes* ..promising bribe to the police

A few weeks ago, Levan Khabeishvili shared a video promising payments to law enforcement employees if they refused to take part in future protest crackdowns.

He had earlier also announced plans for a large rally on October 4, the day of Georgia’s local elections.

Recently he has also drawn attention by regularly publishing insider information from the ruling Georgian Dream party that later proved accurate, including planned arrests of former party members and internal clashes among rival ‘clans’.
