  1. not really, malta naturally lacks a lot of resources. even if it was managed properly it would be a Crete at best

    Please no, I hate that my parents moved to malta. Theres so little greenery and wildlife/birds/bugs. Malta is a concrete jungle. Luckily I live in the countryside. But I still miss South Africa

  3. Nah, Malta would be the Temu version…badly made and falling apart or failing so fast it makes your head spin.

    No sooner they resurface a road they dig it up again, they put the camber on the wrong side of a turn, forgot to put in drains, used the wrong concrete… I’ve lived here 15 years maybe and there’s just been a long list of disastrous builds or collapses or fraud cases and corruption around them.

  4. That is Chongqing. That place has very little to do with Malta: Thirty-two million people live in that municipality, which is roughly the size of Austria. As far as I know, the main reason for this type of construction is that it is a very hilly area.
