Did you know there’s a big Polish community in North Eastern Argentina?
Most of them settled during the early 20th century.
These girls are the Polish "queen ambassadors" For the Polish Community in Oberá, Misiones, Argentina!

Yes, I’m originally from Argentina and have been living in Krakow for the past five years.
I’d say around 75% of Argentina’s population has European roots, with Spanish and Italian heritage being the most prominent, my gfather , for example, was Italian.
Polish and German immigrants mainly settled in the northeast. The central region is heavily influenced by Spanish and Italian communities, while the south, particularly Patagonia, has strong British and Welsh ties.
they are cute 🙂
I’m Polish and I have some family in La Plata. My ancestor migrated there in late 20s. Unfortunately they don’t speak Polish.
I recommend the “trans-atlantyk” book by Gombrowicz. It is quite an interesting piece inspired by his stay in Argentina during WW2.
