So it has been happening for some time now but Galaxus almost always baits you into "flash" delivery or next day delivery or "this item is in our warehouse", "Saturday Delivery" and has been spectacularly failing with what they have promised themselves. Usually if before they provided a reliable service, then now they just bait you and then keep you waiting. With 5+ day "flash" delivery other marketplaces seem as much better choices.
Edit: It’s been 4 full days and it hasn’t even been shipped nor I got the code.

Galaxus Flash delivery isn’t even available where i live XD
Never used flash delivery anyway.
Never had any problems tbh. Of course sometimes it takes a day longer or so but i don‘t mind it
They are making some big changes in their Warehouse. Problems start to show.
Ordering most of my stuff from Brack for this reason. Even though they only advertise 5pm, more often than not when I order after 7pm, they still deliver it by next morning.
Yup. Has been that way for me in Eastern Switzerland for at least the past year.
Never had problems with flash delivery but got message that they are cancelling it as post cancels it with them
I just had this happen this Saturday morning where it was “order now for same day delivery by 5 pm” and it is now Monday evening and I have a Swiss post tracking number that says the item info was sent to the post. No sign of the package. I don’t really need it now, but I imagine that kind of thing could anger someone that ordered it expecting it to arrive Saturday.
I used Digitec for stuff I needed the next day. Then it happened too often that stuff got delayed. Now I order on Amazon.De, expedited delivery. If they miss the delivery, it is normally by a day and they refund the delivery. Sometimes you get a 10 Euro credit/gift card. I know the stuff is still late but Digitec doesn’t even bother returning my emails.
Give us today our daily Galaxus rant…
It’s very simple: Galaxus gets worse, because more and more people order at Galaxus.
That’s the normal run of all good things: first they are discovered by a small group of good people which are very excited.
Then those people (unfortunately) start to convince their parents, neighbours and cats to also use those good things.
And of course eventually it all goes to shit, because the good things can’t handle the influx of retarted plebs.
It’s the same with Galaxus and with most other things on the World Wide Web… heck, the World Wide Web itself is one of the best examples of thow something good went to shit after it became infested with plebs.
Same day or next day delivery is usually done by a company called Notime which will be closed at the end of the month. The service has been around for a long time but it’s not widely known and is not profitable for Post.
Might be a good service for very few reasons, but you might as well ask for slow delivery as it will be taken in charge by the Post and is only 2 or 3 day waiting time.
Flash delivery guaranteed that night. Got to the time and the delivery guy knocks on the door to say they could only deliver one item. Other main item was still in Zurich. Grrrrr
They were working on a warehouse extension / rebuild, they posted about it a month ago, and said that it would affect delivery times. Maybe they haven’t finished yet.
Potentially Multiple reasons behind that:
1. NoTime delivery partner is stopping its service soon, so it’s probably already worsening slowly.
2. Digitec/Galaxus has been for a while, and especially more in the last couple of months, expanding, building and modernizing it’s warehouse in Wohlen (alongside the Swiss Post). It’s supposed to be all done and in operation by end of October 2025. So that might explain the recent issues they have had with delivery estimates (of which I have also suffered from when ordering).
It’s obviously not a good service, so hopefully it’s due to the last two mentioned circumstances that it has gotten worse lately.
Galaxus wants to conquer Europe and is failing miserably, just like every other Migros business that has expanded into Europe. The result is that service in Switzerland is getting worse.
