  1. Let me guess, data centres and same AI? Microsoft’s client base is universal and some clients will be very very worried about data being sent to the US also they want access to AI that doesn’t leak data.

Good news for the country. Now let’s just hope the government does something about out energy production and reduces energy costs – not just for residential but commercial.

Did you hear Zuckerberg making up numbers while sitting next to Trump, are we supposed to believe these.

With over half of this going on infrastructure investment thats legitimately incredible.

  5. Good, let’s just make sure we have the energy supply for this expansion. More nuclear power is desperately needed, with some renewables on the side.

  6. Is this like when Zuckerberg went to the White House and announced $600b of investments for Trump then got hot mic saying he wasn’t sure what numbers to go with.

Just seems like a way to carry favour and it’s questionable whether the investment will be followed through with.

Only need to look at the pharmaceutical companies to see how meaningless pledges are.

  7. The US are dumping this investment on the UK purely to their energy without rising their own carbon foot print. It’s a lose lose for the UK and the environment. Shame. This will rise energy bills for the average brit while making the rich richer.
