Why do these politicians say these things as if they’ve not been guilty of it themselves for years?

Fascism needs an “other” to rally the populace against – for the Nazi’s, this was Jews and Gypsies, while for Trump, Farage, Le Pen and their ilk, it’s “immigrants”.
This is not a surprise.

To be frank, more people are politically identifying as right leaning because of pervasive social narratives that Khan and the like promote and directly profit from.
Perhaps instead of criticising other world leaders, in his role as London Mayor, he should concentrate on ensuring the tube is running efficiently and crime rates go down.
Future PM? – he’s already showing he’s out of his depth, diplomatically.

What divisive politics are they Sadiq? Can you define what you mean by that.
To avoid misunderstanding can you explain what you mean by it.
Can you spell it out for us.

Labour is doing a lot of pandering to Trump so he continues to not tariff the UK, which I kind of understand. But I understand speaking up against fascism more.
I don’t see anyone else in Labour loudly speaking up against Trump politics. I have a lot of respect for Sadiq valuing his own morals over towing the party line.
Not the first time, either. I’ve seen him openly speak up on important political issues over the years. Like when, a few years ago, Met commissioner Crissida Dick was being dismissive of the Met having a toxic culture, following numerous sexual misconduct and racism scandals. I vividly remember reading about Sadiq inviting her to his office for a chat. She resigned hours later. He clearly told her ‘quit before I fire you’.
Sadiq isn’t a perfect mayor, but he gets a lot more right than he does wrong IMO. I’m proud he represents London.

All people like him are doing is pushing people further into the arms of people like trump.

London is ripe with crime and I personally have avoided going in on Saturdays for a long time due to the hateful rhetoric, aggression and often direct support for terrorist groups displayed by protestors Khan continues backing and excusing.
Khan has allowed hate from the far left and Islamists to flourish which has in turn caused a rise in hate from people on the far right.
Khan and Trump are as bad as each other.

You’ve allowed Islamist marches through your city, that ideology has been more divisive globally than anything Trump has done.

Actually it’s more in line with the fact that people feel they can finally speak up about stuff that previously they felt they had to self censor out of fear. I’m not a trump fan, but I know I can critique idea freely now and not fear shunning. This is a good thing.

This shouldn’t be controversial if you’re a trump supporter, the fact he stokes the flames, makes fun of democrats politicians who get assaulted, choses not to disavow assignations of democrat lawmakers, regularly calls for violence and action
– is what they like, what they want and they’ll crybully their way into getting away with more severe action

Politics is meant to be divisive? What are we all supposed to just agree and align with Sadiqs works view? Hopefully that poor individual can get a clue

Im not a fan of Trump… but Sadiq Khan has done more damage and created more devision than anyone else in the country.
Sadiq may be pointing the finger at Trump, but he’s got 3 more pointing right back at him.

Extreme woke-ism (left-ism) has fanned the flames – Trump is the backlash. The further left society is pushed, the further right will be the reply. Which is bad for the moderate majority.

I would suggest Khan is equally as divisive as Trump, perhaps more so.
This is someone who labelled all protestors as racists, simply because that’s the easy, lazy option.
I still feel the MSM and the left are livid that there was no riots, mass collateral damage and huge outbreaks of violence, as this doesn’t fit their narrative.
For perspective, below are the details for arrests at the United the Kingdom rally, Notting Hill carnival and the most recent pro Palestine protests
Unite the Kingdom:
– 24 people arrested for a range of offences
– between 110,000 and 150,000 people attended.
– if you take the lower of the two previous figures to calculate the percentage of people who were arrested in comparison to those who attended, you’d return a figure of just 0.022%. That’s right, a 0.022% likelyness of someone who attended this rally actually committing a crimee.
Notting Hill Carnival
-As of 20.00 on the Monday of the carnival, there had been 423 arrests.
– That’s 17 X times the number of arrests than the Unite the Kingdom rally. Yes, the Carnival spans over two days essentially but even if I doubled the number of arrests at the United the Kingdom rally, it would still mean that was 8 times more Lilley to witness a crime at the Notting Hill Carnival.
– Heres a breakdown of what the arrests were for:
° 32 Assualt on police
° 46 Possession of an offensive weapon
° 44 drug supply
° 4 violence with injury
° 36 other violence
Pro Palestine rally
– 890 arrests
– 857 Arrests as a result of supporting a proscribed terrorist group
– 33 Arrests for other offences
– 17 of the 33 were for assaults on officers
– A estimated 1,500 people took part in the rally
– this means that there was a 57% chance someone attending this rally would commit a crime.
