I really respected Sikorski before elections and thought that he would be better candidate than Trzaskowski but after Nawrocki’s victory he keeps embarassing himself.
That’s because the President’s effort is pointless, he knows damn well, that the topic is dead and it’s only doing it for appearances. It’s been 80 years, it’s really time to move on.
in what reality is that “worth trying” when the last government “tried it” for 8 years and got nowhere?

He’s yet another PiS official who brings up reparations during his visit to Germany, receives the same answer as the one before him, then the subject is put back on the shelf . How many times does this have to play out for pis voters to admit that it is embarrassing?

Well, Sikorski gave him some credit and mentioned a moral ✌️.
Nawrocki will not get any further and he knows that. But it’s a good theme for keeping your electorate busy and upset. In the end it is a misuse of valuable time to get something more going for both sides.
But sadly, this is now how our democracy is shaped more and more and slowly putting to death and that’s what people like Nawrocki want anyway.
Nikt tak nie dba o zagładę Polski jak Polacy.
Imo it’s not even about “trying” it is about reminding “generous” Germany that has money to give everyone as long as they are not European that they still have unpaid dues with their neighbors so that when they start yapping next time that Poland is this and that you can tell them to stfu.
Based Sikorski, as always. Wonder to this day if he’d do better than Trzaskowski.

Niektórzy polscy politycy uważają chyba że ich powołaniem jest służba Niemcom… problem w tym że polskie społeczeństwo raczej nic z tego nie ma bo model gospodarczy zarabiania jako poddostawcy niemieckich fabryk się skończył wraz z ciągłym rozwojem Polski i rosnącymi pensjami, więc wydaje się że sporo z naszych polityków została mentalnie w poprzednim tysiącleciu – wtedy jak byli w ich prime

A chciałbym zauważyć że prezydentowi udało się “wynegocjować” więcej niż wszystkim rządom razem wziętym. Bo tym razem przynajmniej dostaliśmy kontrofertę gwarancji bezpieczeństwa (gówno wartych ale coś się ruszyło)
