That’s a really high pay raise compared to what I get in the US (I’m in software). It sounds like your pay raises are specified in the contract, is this the case? How far out is the pay raise guaranteed? Does this include promotions, assuming you have them? My job just gives every employee the same % raise depending on market conditions. The only way to get ahead is promotions, which kinda sucks.
