  2. Has it been reported that they are exploring some sort of clawback for people who have recently paid a shedload of stamp duty? Especially in London and the SE, this is going to be really punitive for anyone who has moved in the last couple of years….to the tune of 20k+

    It’s not just London though,

    Again, the concept of a property tax would be supported if it was targeted at the right demographic. It’s not though, the band bites too low and this is looking like it’s another middle income tax incoming.

    Land tax per acre over property value tax everyday of the week please with an exemption for small-hold generational farmers.
