  1. > South Yorkshire Police had the names of some sexual abusers in Rotherham 14 years before they were convicted, and their inaction allowed more children to be abused, a police watchdog report has found.

  2. >at least 1,400 children

The population of Rotherham in 2014 was 110,000. 8% of which were categorised “Asian” (gangs were of predominantly Pakistani origin), so around 9,000. Without women and children, that’s about 3,500 men. At least 1,400 children raped. This is an insane ratio.

The true extent of this will never find the light of day as I believe some higher up people in the police and authorities are in on it. I so hope it does though

  4. This whole charade was instrumental in the rise of Tommy Robinson and the raging populist anger we’ve seen this summer.
If they’d just fucking dealt with the gangs at the time we’d quite likely be living in a very different political climate. Instead they covered it up and used left wing institutions to smear anyone who dared to question it as rascists. People lost their livelihood and freedom trying to expose this shit. Criminal it’s taken so long for it to get this far and I feel this is only the tip of the iceberg.

  5. Nobody cares. Police, social services, NHS don’t believe in stuff like this mattering I think. Grab your bootstraps and be positive, don’t blame externalities, don’t make excuses and focus on the positive – don’t compare to others. I reckon that’s the prevailing mindset, as it is on reddit too.

  6. > Youth worker Jayne Senior and former strategic drugs analyst Angie Heal were told their complaint was successful in June 2022, but the report has not been published until now as the force objected to the findings.

Can anyone have faith in the police when they are still trying to cover up a report into the inaction and arguable cover up of the sexual abuse?

If they had serious leadership they would be engaging with the report to resolve the concerns, not trying to prevent the publication of the report.

Does any rational person buys South Yorkshire excuse that this report shouldn’t of been published because no officers were named????

Those poor children/girls. Failed at every level but it’s okay because the SYC has said sorry. 😔

  8. But what about needing to upload ID to 3rd parties based in the U.S. to use Reddit??? I don’t understand why that didn’t stop the crime????????????
