For those of us not from Toronto, these named places are meaningless.
Mapped? Mapped and then categorized to the next level of statistical analysis might create a sort of geographic – spatial visualisation that could (depending on the deft hand) have a richness of data that is ….beautiful.

For anyone wondering, Peel is to the west, Halton is west of Peel, York is north, Durham is east. South is Lake Ontario.

I feel like “European” is doing a lot of lumping in this dataset, when other racial groups are much more split apart. Especially in the GTA, the differences between those of British/French descent (have been in Canada for centuries), Italian/Portuguese descent (have been in Canada for a few generations) and Eastern European descent (varies from a few generations to more recent arrivals) are at least as significant as say the distinction between South, East and Southeast Asian descended Torontonians.

Expecting this to look very differently after next year’s census

It’s so surprising to me that there are more East asians than SE asians. Maybe I don’t know what constitutes SE asian.

May I ask why it is “black” instead of African (and possiblyother groups like Caribbean, Afro-American, if necessary)? Every other group has a geographical association, not a skin colour.

The soon to be failed experiment of the post national state. Wait times for medical care skyrocket in tandem with housing costs. The Trudeau administration never had a plan, they just wanted to drive GDP as they sold the domestic population down the river. Now that planlessness continues…

It’s insane how many indians and Chinese there are now. Also oddly they don’t seem to like to group up together.
