    It’s worth noting that Tuvalu’s situation is quite unique because the islands are on average 2m above sea level – they expect about half the capital to be under tidewaters by 2050 and the *entire country* is slated to be uninhabitable by the end of the century.

    I’m unsure how much of an impact it made on this particular budget but there is an organised effort to relocate the entire population to Australia/New Zealand. It’s a new and different class of humanitarian crisis compared to many of the others IMO.

    However, I do not think this is a good post. A simple bar chart with no sources or tools listed.
