Well i would eat it mostly on bread like in the picture and i used to for breakfast. It is clearly not very high quality product, but it is eatable and it is actually great for “принцеси” or as it should be called- “странджанки”. I can imagibe there is worse things to eat.

  2. I suggest you look into butcher shops. Some offer to make it in front of you. If you don’t know the local butcher shops look into Metro. Every metro has it (and the meat is not that bad).

  3. When I was a poor university student, my daily ration consisted of a half a pack of this and one loaf of bread. When I was feeling like treating myself, I would add a couple of boiled eggs.

  4. It’s absolutely fine. It’s a common brand. Nothing fancy but I and many people eat it. It’s obviously not as good as fresh minced meat from the meat section but perfectly fine.

The red one is generic and the green one has spices added fit for a princess style sandwich.

  5. You can if the situation requires it, like if you have no other choice. Your suspicions regarding its quality are correct. It won’t kill or infect you with some parasite or something. It probably won’t even give you the shitters. But the quality is subpar to say the least.

  6. It’s edible. The meat used is not high quality, there would be a higher concentration of skin/bones etc, tons preservatives etc. But if you’re on a budget it’s fine. I wouldn’t eat it months at a time daily, explore other cheap options as well, but a few times a week won’t be a problem.

  7. The green one makes not that bad принцеси. For anything else – buy minced meat and stay away from this brand in general.

It is not you can buy cheap meat from big supermarkets like and they will mince it for you brother. It is not bad taste actually good but it is ultra processed food stay away from it and eat whole foods that are nutritious for your body. Trust me

It’s sh*t, if you can afford it please avoid it. Your best bet for value for money is the local butcher shop.

  10. I don’t think this is cheaper then other minced meat .

    It’s like 3lv for 250grams so 12lv for kg.

You can just go to local butcher and get some cheaper cut minced in front of you for less then that ….
Buy thigh meat on sale at larger store and it’s almost half price…

“comparatively cheaper” Excuse me, that’s what I buy when I wanna treat myself? 😭

  12. Its fine. But not on daily occasions. You’d better buy fresh from the store for better quality.

  13. Buy minced meat only from the butcher shop. If you cant afford it – dont buy it on a daily basis or maybe just buy a little. Protect your health in the longrun.

It’s OK. If you are stretching the penny, why not just raid the reduced section in Kaufland? There’s tons of reduced meat in there like litro all the time.

  15. Well people have recommended getting minced meat from a butcher, which is the best option. However, I may add that if you want to stick to fabricated meat for the time being, there are at least much better options than Naroden which I find tasteless. The Lidl Old Mountain minced meat is alright.

Some shop would grind a meat in front of you, you can be sure you are buying a real minced meat that way. The rest is sold to be of a appealing quality.

The is a thing called “БДС” which is a government approved standard. If it has this mark, then you are getting something closer to the real deal.
