That one 14 year old dude who got the 49 year old woman pregnant, wtf

Needs a bit of shading over the points plotted at the left and bottom of the chart labeled “WTF this is not okay”

Is there a line for “father unknown”?

Wonder how many of these are related to pensions or other handouts. A lot of American teenagers married Civil War veterans in the early 20th century for their Confederate veterans’ benefits.
Whether the stated parent really was the parent is a separate question. E.g. the 50-year-old mothers being actually the grandmother.

How many times does 31 go into 10?

Hell yeah. This is the type of well-executed data analysis and presentation that I subscribe for. Love this shit.

And how in F are the 10-13 y/o’s baby daddy’s not getting straight up castrated?
> I’d like to see those statistics, the ones that show how many Epstein POs are being castrated beat or otherwise punished for F^cking Kids!

The large number of men grooming young girls is expected, unfortunately. But I am surprised by the considerable number of women grooming teenager boys. I wasn’t expecting that

I had a friend in highschool who was from Mexico. One day he had to leave sports practice early because it was his mom’s birthday. She was turning 29. When we paused and started to say “but you’re 16” he just sighed and said “Yeah.”

oh the number of pregnant 10 year olds… there’s a 10 year old girl with a 31 year old baby father. How atrocious.

My only gripe (with the presentation) is that the statistical outliers are given way too much visual real estate. This chart doesn’t help your brain understand that the bizarre age gaps are a tiny fraction of a percentage of the more typical age ranges.
I would’ve done this with greyscale, with the outliers being barely visible and the more populated birth ranges bright white.

Most of the center: oh, interesting.
