“To achieve the subtle, precise facial movements in the video, AheadForm uses brushless motors. These tiny devices run quietly and work together to create the lifelike twitches and glances that make the head seem realistic.

Inside this particular model, the Origin M1, there are up to 25 tiny motors that control the head’s expressions. The bot also has cameras embedded in its pupils to help it “see” its environment, along with built-in speakers and microphones it can use to interact with users on the fly.”

  2. Oh we are so close boys. Add a little cough, maybe its able turn it’s eyes a little red, and some tears. And it’s game on. Birthday experience 3v3ryday

I believe Americans or Europeans have done such thing in medieval days, but people just love exotic stuff

Pop a short bob with fringe wig on and make an 😲 expression please. Just doing my research, I have a PhD in Facials.

  5. Why can’t they just make robots that actually just look like robots? No one wants to see uncanny valley shit like that, what’s the point?

  6. Lol, are people deliberately telling themselves this is lifelike because they are such fans? Or are you all that blind? This does not even measure up to VFX robotic heads from the late 90s.

  7. Can someone explain to me what’s going on with the comment section? It’s just a demo tech, why are people acting so weird about it.

It will be like Fiona in Silicon Valley.. some private equity firm will sell her eyeballs off for pennys on the dollar before she can become whole. Short term profits offset Skynet yet again.. 😆

  9. Meh still uncanny, even with a wig and embodied, it has a mechanical quality, the random blinking and looking around like it’s thinking is out of place

  10. Interesting that they’d give it western facial features instead of looking Asian, considering it’s a Chinese tech company.

  11. In the west a robot is Terminator, meant to kill you. In Asia a robot is a gadget. So they do not see it creepy.

  12. China is kicking the US’ ass. What do we have? Welfare soy farmers? A better search engine? Social media to waste all our time on? We’re pretty good at propaganda, maybe they could hire us for that
