got to hand it to him, he’s managing to get 10x the coverage that Farage is getting recently

Its crazy how all the green posters on this sub managed to post all news related to this guy from yesterday and today EXCEPT the one in which he goes on to theguardian and calls for open borders and how mass immigration is our strength.

Isn’t the worry that a strong Green Party will split the Labour vote?
I have very mixed feelings about the Greens. I do wish they would change their stance on nuclear…in my locality the Greens helped put in a Conservative council by remaining neutral in the vote. They also had a few Muslim candidates who were very sus when asked questions regarding LGBT+ issues.
I know no party is going to be ideal, but if I’m tactically voting I find Green a risky one to choose.

The Greens would put the housing crisis into overdrive. Their NIMBY policies make them unelectable.

The only thing preventing Reform winning will be Conservatives splitting the vote. The Greens and even a flaccid Your Party on the ballot will counteract that some what. Ironic really.

If the greens changed their name they would likely get in power. 99% of their policies are spot on and are actual policies. Not made up shite like reform.
Problem is the uk is anti the environment in the main so “green” instantly doesnt votes.

I do not trust or like this guy. Oh well.. No chance of him getting in anyway.

> Green Party would support his ambition for the UK to leave NATO, Polanski stressed that the UK needs “a different approach to defence”.
Just another usefull sewing division and making us weaker.

First, Polanski is an equally dangerous populist himself. Second, he’s splitting the left’s vote and thus giving it to Farage.

If the Greens would move on one policy, they’d have my vote. Scapping Trident & our nuclear arms, and not seeing nuclear as a viable option for energy now and into the future is unaccpetable. Our dependance on purely renewable (solar, tidal, wind) could mean periods of blackouts, or make household battery storage mandatory, or even things such as gas/diesel standby generators.

All these leaders can only talk about Farage, they are running scared

Ngl, this guy just seems like Farage but left wing. He is just going to blame rich people for all our problems rather than immigrants.

I’d vote green if they were honest about what would have to happen to taxes for their plans, and for them to acknowledge the general public’s views on migration. Denmark appear to have done this and their left wing party got the most votes.

he already has handed it over. it’s up to an actual left-wing option to take it back before it’s too late. starver and his centre-right goons have removed any notion that labour are a party for the worker or the common person.
i hope zack can remove the lingering stench of the green party name that will inevitably follow him no matter how much sense he talks.

If Britain votes farage as prime minister. They deserve every mad policy he dreams up. If the biggest problem in your life is people arriving in small boats . Vote for him and see how much better your life will be

Starmer is right wing in his politics, centre right. A Tony Blair on steroid, but got most things wrong so far. No wonder people will vote Farage.

The Greens will hand the country over to Farage by splitting the left vote six ways from Sunday and not strategically targeting Reform, just like the left anti-Labour vote at the last election literally deliberately kept the Tories alive by splitting the vote in target seats. They then complain about the centre/centre left doing this.
CurtisInCamden on
The only reason so many people are considering voting for Farage/Reform is the runaway immigration trend of the past couple of decades. Same for Brexit, if it wasn’t for mainstream parties repeatedly ignoring very clear public opinion over immigration and questionable asylum claims then we’d still be in the EU and far-right parties would be back on the outer fringe like they always were before immigration levels exploded in the early 00s.

The media is trying to hand over Britain to Farage so their billionaire owners can get massive tax cuts.

Rerform want the Greens to pull support from Labour. Of course, only those interested in student politics don’t see this.

That’s a bit rich considering Greens will achieve nothing but taking votes off Labour and gifting seats to Reform.
Credit it to him getting himself in the media mind, more than the lib dems are doing.
