Surely should be held without bail, fast tracked to trial, if found guilty should have his biometrics taken kept on a data base, deported back to syria. Any attempt to re-enter instantly removed?

Worth reading the whole article, there is a lot more detail in it. He had a number of other criminal convictions albeit not terror-related, and is thought to have issued death threats to a Conservative MP for supporting Israel as far back as 2012. Seems crazy to issue death threats in your own full name, and it’s an “unusual” name, but threats against MPs were not taken seriously pre-Jo Cox and David Amess.
In short a scumbag, who should not have been here let alone given citizenship but the damage is done. The woman involved in the rape investigation will not see justice either.
It seems he wanted to be shot (especially if he was wearing a false suicide belt), to commit suicide by cop, kill Jews, dodge justice in an alleged rape and get rewarded for the entire shitshow in paradise. It’s so depressing.
