Will they? Or will they excuse themselves for all bad behavior because a tragedy is happening thousands of miles away.

There is nothing offensive about protesting the Palestinian genocide.
To conflate a protest against the Israeli and UK governments with the feelings of all Jewish people is anti-Semitic in itself.

The idea that pro-Palestine marches should offend Jews is absolutely abhorrent. British Jews and Israel are separate entities, there are British Jews that participate in such marches, and often are vocal supporters too, like Zack Polanski.
Will some Jews find the protests offensive? Yes, just as there are British Christians (like Tommy Ten Names), British Muslims (like Shabana Mahmood) who find them offensive, and just as there are social conservative Jews who find Pride Marches offensive. The only way the marches can be remotely problematic is if you assume all Jews will find them offensive, which builds on the assumption that all Jews support Israel or Israel’s actions in Gaza, *which is categorically antisemitic*.
To weaponise an antisemitic terror attack like yesterday’s to police how we exercise our freedom to protest is, unfortunately, exactly what I expect from this Labour government.

Obviously they won’t do so, because they don’t have a shred of human decency.
As one ‘pro-Palestinian’ protester put it yesterday, in Manchester, hours after Jews had just been attacked and murdered at a synagogue on the single-holiest day in Judaism by a radicalised Syrian-born Islamist named Jihad, “I don’t give a fuck about the Jewish community right now”.
She accurately summed up the views of everyone on the marches that will be going ahead this weekend.
That Hamas appears to have just accepted the peace proposal made by Israel and the United States won’t stop them either. Many of them are now busy accusing Hamas of selling out “the struggle” (to destroy Israel).
Because it’s not about what Israel’s actually doing in Gaza. It never has been. It’s been a multi-decades long war to destroy the Jewish state by any means necessary.
It’s about Jew-hatred and demonisation of Israel, whose creation saved the millions of Jews the West locked its doors to during the late 19th and early 20th century, and which these protesters believe has no right to exist and must be destroyed in order to save the world. What happens to the millions of Jews who live there and have nowhere else to go? Ah, well, they go very quiet at that point.
That’s all it’s ever been about.
Tired of this situation where we’re expected to pretend otherwise and put up with these marches designed specifically to increase the likelihood of stochastic terrorism against Jews, to normalise them, to create a permission structure for them.
They got what they wanted yesterday, and it won’t end there if something isn’t done to stop them.

Did Israel take a pause in their genocide during Ramadan, or even yesterday, when they killed over 50 people, including 20 children?
Ah, sorry, I’m complete and utter idiot, it’s mainly Muslims killing Muslims in Yemen which appears to make it Halal, it’s only non-Muslims (especially Jews) killing Muslims that appears to be Haram.
Heck they’re all quite about the genocide of the Uyghurs in China as well. You’d have to have the intelligence of a Reform supporter not to see that there is anti-Semitic streak running through these protests.
Idiots on the left, idiots on the right, what a bloody awful time to be alive.I can’t help but feel that nihilists are overly optimistic.

Imagine deliberately associating perfectly innocent Jewish people with a genocide happening 3,000 miles away.

People are going to run into this thread and act like these marches don’t have an element of antisemitism to them.

Confuse the two issues and link it as much as possible to anti semetism.
The mail did it on the same day and I’m sure this will be used to limit these protests even more

Meanwhile in Yemen we’re probably getting towards 500,000 dead by now [https://caat.org.uk/data/countries/saudi-arabia/the-war-on-yemens-civilians/](https://caat.org.uk/data/countries/saudi-arabia/the-war-on-yemens-civilians/) where are the Palestinian flag shagger protests about that?
