In photo: Captain Lino Ponzinibio, Movm, fallen in captivity in Russia.
I did some mess with the posts. The previous post, even if in the title he had "October 4th" It was actually for October 3. Pardon and good reading.
- Captain Lino Ponzinibiovolunteer with the 1st Alpine Regiment on the Russian front, in several actions, although injured, continued to incite his Alpini by refusing the hospitalization to stay with them. He fell in captivity. — Russian front, September 1942-1946
- Partisan Alessandro Panichihaving received the order to fall back, he preferred to remain in his place as a machine gun with two companions, encouraging them with his voice and with the example to continue with the resistance. Even after his companions fell, he continued to inflict strong losses to the enemy, despite the remarkable superiority of men and means. He heroically closed his life, hit by a short burst. — Colle San Marco, 1943
- Second lieutenant Filippo Marinialthough he had a hand devastated by the lead of the overwhelming enemy forces, seen a machine gun falling, he rushed to replace him, being mortally hit in the chest. — Zallalo (AIO), 1934

Bella rubrica, complimenti!
