  1. More of this please. I’d very much support life sentences for those who don’t understand “keep left”. Also, those who don’t understand what “merge in turn” means

  2. Good

We should do a quiz of what the lanes on a motorway are called, anyone that says slow lane/fast lane gets a lifetime driving ban

Good. Most of the time it’s easy to get confused thinking you’re actually in France because everyone drives on the bloody ‘right’

Also ban the idiots who try to join dual carriageways/motorways at 40mph because they think any form of acceleration is dangerous 🙄 and drivers who block perfectly safe and legal overtakes on single carriageway roads

  5. I don’t know why they don’t have more road signs telling people to do this. I think a lot of people who do it are foreigners who don’t know the rules of UK roads.

  6. but it’s soooo easy, cruise control to 80 and sit, move over when the fast fast bois come 🙁

  7. Five miles at 70mph is less than 5 minutes. You can easily do that on a motorway and not need to pull into a lefthand lane due lorries and other slow drivers. I’ve always felt its more dangerous to be constantly switching between lanes rather than continuing in the lane your in if your still catching up with and overtaking other vechicles. You can drive on the m6 between Birmingham and Coventry and see two lanes of lorries overtaking each other the entire way.

  8. Good stuff, lane hogging is an absolute epidemic. It is as illegal as speeding and tailgating, and on a low traffic motorway it is far more problematic than moderate speeding, because you’re making anyone who comes up behind you make the choice between getting baulked or undertaking.

I’ll never understand why they call the lane on the inside of the road the outside lane!
