    1. We shouldn’t be, beacuse she did not say that. Daily Mail is a shitty source. She said that, after the failure of Misk Agreements, she proposed a new format, but countries in our region were against it, withouth first having a coherent EU policy against russia.

article by a Hungarian government supporting outlet, likely biased and taking things out of context to fit into Putin’s propaganda

    3. Merkel didn’t “blame” the Baltics or Poland for starting the war. She said they opposed her 2021 idea for an EU-level direct-talks format with Putin. That’s it.

I’m very critical of Merkel and not a fan, but accuracy matters. She did **not** accuse the Baltic states or Poland.

**Bottom line:** Opposing her diplomacy ≠ being blamed for starting a war. Clickbait is compressing “they didn’t back her format” into “they caused it.”

If someone want you to be mad at something instead of thinking is a clear sign of propaganda. I know that allying with the west is best way to not get swallowed by ruzzian barbarians.

0 mad, what Merkel says is completely irrelevant. She’s very unpopular in Germany too as an ex-chancellor.

    6. She didn’t directly blame Poland nor Baltics. There’s a “between the lines” where she might have, but that’s interpretative.

Also, there’s a reason why Poland and Baltics didn’t want a new format – it was another appeasement play, which everyone on this side of Oder knew will not work.

What?) what asshole she is?)) she is been warned that after north stream 2 is complete ruZZia begin a war. What a stupid granny.

    8. Merkel filled Russia’s war chest to the brim with her dealings with Putin and wanted to give them even more. Even shut down German nuclear energy production to maximize Russian gas income. Without pressure from the Baltics and Poland Europe could be in a situation where they would just have to hand over territories at Putin’s request because they would be so outleveraged (from poor politics).

I understand she didn’t directly blame the Baltics and Poland, but given the insane level of aggression we’re seeing from Russia, she should be laying very low. She is personally complicit in that war.

Even if she were to say that explicitly (it’s implied, but not said directly) imagine the world we live in, where the “Refugees welcome” and “Russia is not a threat” chancellor says that Poland and the Baltics started a war that might wipe Poland and the Baltics from the face of the Earth.

    10. Fake news, read that interview before major media got clickbaits out of it. She didnt say it. She said something similiar tho.

    11. A lot, like very a lot, like how can you read the most shitties source with false information and believe in it, no sane smart person would takes Daily Mail articles seriously, and people who do are very dumbest people on earth you will ever meet.
