‘Famed’ but not ‘good’ or ‘appealing’ in any way other than to clout-chasing posers.

This took longer than expected. Why people ever entertained this restaurant I’ll have no idea.

Well yeah the hospitality sections fucked, feel sorry for the people with a dream to sell good food reasonably, not this grifting dip shit.

I almost respect that this guy has seemingly managed to spin some not very good viral content into the better part of a decade living the high life. I’m not surprised the restaurant is failing now but it should never have even existed in the first place.

I’m absolutely shocked that this obviously crass, flash in the pan, gimmick didn’t prove to be a sustainable business model

I’m amazed it’s still going, it is very 2010s coded. It seemed to have struck that rare balance of being absolutely something which is very noughtied and modern day at the same time. When did he blow up? 2013-ish? Maybe one of the first ‘viral’ restaurants in the social media age?
