      >> The Metropolitan Police said the group chats “demonstrated and evidenced a sophisticated, professional business model”

Not that professional given that they’re in jail for quite the foreseeable future.

Folks like these thugs should have to spend their 15 years building new prisons for Britain.

We desperately need to probably double our prison capacity, as crime is only going to increase in the years to come, as is the population.

    3. From the description it seems like somebody probably grassed them in, it’s a rather big coincidence for the police to randomly stop and search a white van that just happens to have 8 kilos in it

Very interesting to me, that this article and none of the others I’ve read, mentions anything about violence perhaps if they’d been less business like and more brutal, whoever tipped the cops might have thought twice

Seems like some major op-sec issues to be caught so often on CCTV. I’d be interested to hear which encrypted messaging service they were using if it was just Telegram or Signal then SMDH deserved to be caught

Would’ve been perfect if they played for Metropolitan Police FC, they’re the right level.

    6. Imagine having the balls and stupidity to drive 8kg of coke around _whilst disqualified from driving_. Everyone knows you should only ever break one law at a time.

I’d argue they were professional pharmaceutical entrepreneurs who played football on the side.
