Using GDELT, a database that tracks more than 100,000 online news sources in over 100 languages and processes about 250 million articles each year, I pulled daily article counts of how often each was mentioned between 2017 and 2025. The counts are indexed to 100 = maximum mentions.

There’s a conspiracy around Dubai chocolate. It’s almost believable given that it came out of nowhere.

  2. Because the series are indexed to themselves independently, the comparison is pretty useless

  3. They now try to do it to kiwi. Every fitness influencer talks about kiwi. They soon be 5 bugs a piece. Stop them!

Pumpkin spice was never a ‘thing’ in Australia, but it seems over night, over priced Dubai chocolate has taken over all the chocolate space.

Why would anyone willingly put dubai chocolate on their mouths?! It’s a reference to eating shit.

  6. I literally don’t know a single person who has bought one of those insanely overpriced Dubai chocolate bars. It’s absolutely just a fad.

  7. I don’t know anyone who sell Dubai chocolate anymore pumpkin spice on the other hand….

Oh. Is that why I’m seeing stupid expensive chocolate with green shit inside near the checkout? The display even had a hot wheels Porsche on top of it.
