Meh at this point just let them finish running the ship aground.
The ridiculous thing is this is actually good news, all things considered- at some point it was looking like the layoffs would be closer to 20-25%… and this is the third or fourth layoff in about two years for those not paying attention.
Just brutal and awful. 🙁

If I recall correctly they also had significant lay offs last year.

This is so depressing. I am so sorry for those who will be impacted and the health of the space industry, especially in terms of space science and exploration.
We are literally giving away our most intelligent scientists, researchers, support staff to OTHER COUNTRIES.

I’ve been saying for years that the religious force$ won’t like NASA finding signs of life. We all pretty much know there is a high probability of life forms in the frozen oceans of our solar systems select moons. They will need to turn private to have success. Have all the fired dudes and gals team up. Maybe grab a rich billionaire as well.
