Altercation on the train – why some people feel so untachable? Should such cases be taken a lot more seriously?

What’s more scary – he posted a video on his social media reading news about himself an laughing (from today). No remorse, no fair. Somekind of a zombie. 

Such cases usually create insane amount of media coverage. You’d say that such occasions are rare, and that’s why media is covering them so much. Therefore, no need to panic, it happens very rarely.

But that’s a fallacy. 100s and 100s of similar events happen daily. Difference is no-one filmed it, or the ones who filmed didn’t have a good enough social account to create enough coverage.

Using example of this russian alcoholic : that is not his first rodeo, multiple people came out with similar events caused by that guy, which no-one would know of, if lady in the video wouldn’t publish it on Instagram.

Such encounters become more and more common, people losing their shit for tiny inconveniences. That’s a mass hysteria.

So I’d say yes, we definitely need to take it seriously, it as a general behavioral change in society caused by psychological instabilities.

It’s very important to understand what drove that individual to harass Ukrainians with a child, in public train, in front of harasser’s wife.

It’s obvious that a mentally stable person would never do something like that, no matter the circumstances. So there’s certainly something wrong with this guy’s perception of reality. He needs psychiatric help.
