this kind of BS argument was used by campaigners in Dublin before one was built, that was maybe 10 years ago and it’s been fine. it generates electricity and hot water from rubbish that would otherwise be put in landfill.

Doesn’t sweden have a ton of these? what was the impact over there? all i can find online is how much better this is for our environment then not. And that the health risk isnt known or effecting much.
we got a tiny piece of land we call an island, do we really want to just keep piling on the plastic garbage that will never decompose by itself?

With EU funds for the incinerators being pulled, let’s hope that this monstrosity is cancelled.
