SIDEC 2025

Good day!

Here are some pictures from the Sidec fair that I managed to take. I was there myself on the first day and we were told not to take pictures at all.

The fair was held in Celje on the topic of the defense industry. It was attended by domestic as well as foreign manufacturers of military equipment.

At the fair, it was really well shown how far Slovenia has come with the development of the defense industry. The companies had the opportunity to display their products, and we were free to ask questions and talk to the representatives or even the owners of the companies.

I must say that I stood out a little in a conference room full of foreign delegations, generals whose rank I will never see again in my life, and very rich businessmen.

I would really recommend attending the event to anyone interested in this type of equipment or working in this type of industry.

Companies such as Valhalla turrets, guardiris and MIL sistematica stood out as domestic manufacturers, but I must also mention the representatives of Diehl, Rheinmetall, Patria and SAAB. Everyone saw that I was not an important person, but they still approached me and were friendly, professional and very pleasant to talk to.

The fair was much, much bigger than just what I managed to photograph.
