I noticed this picture about this company that claims they can do all the paperwork to hire everyone another company is interested in hiring. How can they justify to the government the need for a non-EU employee, even if it is not for themselves? What do you think?

It’s an ad next to ETH Zurich probably trying to target highly qualified grads?
they just handle the process, they don’t guarantee employment dude. don’t overthink it
Well there is a law in Switzerland that non eu foreigner can only be hired if no swiss/eu citizen can be found for the role. So this add is a bit “offensive” and that company might better be vetted carefully if they really are 100% compliant with swiss law.
I work for a multinational company, and got told a similar message during my management training: from specialist position and above, nationality doesn’t matter, take the best you can.
I found it very surprising so I asked about the justification we need to provide for non-EU workers and got told that an external company handles that for us.
I tend to believe them as until the recent turmoil and difficult economic situation we are in, we had a lot of non-EU new starters for specialists/mid level management position.
Now this is probably anedoctal and I personally find it unfair for smaller companies that may truly need specialized and hard to find talents…
Marketing has always promised much more than it ultimately delivered.
I am pretty sure that big multinationals have a gentlemen’s agreement with the cantonal authorities so that these are not too strict on the “Show me that you could not find a suitable candidate from EU” constraint. On the basis that they need to maintain a somewhat global workforce and on the basis that quotas for non-EU don’t get filled anyway. It still needs to be for roles that add economic value to the swiss economy (so skilled people, with masters degrees in certain fields, etc…). Then these multinationals might outsource the process & administration to service companies like the one in the ad.
In companies I worked for there were quite a few people from India, Mexico, Taiwan, US, Canada hired directly out of an MBA (not even from a swiss Business School), from St. Gallen, or from similar companies, all for fairly junior roles (with plenty of potential candidates from EU)
