Just what the hell is going on in the USA right now? I’m trying not to let all the videos I am seeing on Reddit of ICE violently arresting people (at times, seemingly on impulse/at random) inform my view of current affairs, but the situation seems utterly mad.
Even for proto fascist America, this is some dystopian stuff
Doesn’t surprise me, America is turning into Nazi Germany, with a Russian oligarch twist.
It’s scary, because no one seems to be doing anything about it, one man and his sycophants has completely turned the country from a flawed democracy to an autocratic, fascist police state in 7? months.

I know we already have travel warnings for travelling to the US, but it should be repeated by the government, unless they’re not because the orange thing in the whitehouse will get upset if we say it’s not safe for us to go there.

Countries should be keeping foreign subversives out, just because we let in Jihadists by the boat load, doesn’t mean it’s a good policy.
In reality letting people who have cheered on Islamic terrorism into your country is a terrible idea.
You can’t do much about the homegrown extremists, but sure as hell don’t need to open the door to foreign ones.

come on … Either people are not being remotely diligent before making emotional comments, or they are also supporting terrorism, yet in a very duplicitous way. If you call someone a ‘nazi’ for kicking out people like this… I’m not sure what that makes you. But this guy is about as aligned with nazi ideals as anyone has ever been.
I’m all for criticising the antics of ICE, but this guy should not be allowed into the US, UK, or any other civilized nation.
