Here are some pictures I made in Warsaw while e-scootering the city at midnight. Was a lot of fun, cool vibe.

I travelled 8 days through Poland. I was in Krakow, Katowice, Zakopane and Warsaw. I am happy to get to know your country a little bit.

In my homecountry Germany, there is a biiig controversy about so called "Cityscape"with many racism accusations. And while travelling through Poland I just couldn’t help but compare to my homecity in NRW. Your cities are just cleaner and neater. I never saw any shady people at night. I did not see passed out junkies at the trainstations. Or dozens of barbershops and shawarmashops.. In many ways I found Poland to be more developed or better taken care of than my home country Germany.

Regarding the people. I found the polish to be polite, but not friendly. Similar to germans in that regard, but stronger, people rarely smile back. Which I find sad, I wish we were all more american sometimes. I was also surprised that people generally trusted me. My hostel mates in Warsaw were polish and they left their phones, wallet, etc around me, without knowing me or having talked to me.

The only "bad experience" I had was on my departure, and probably my own fault. As I was boarding the train, I realized I still had 40 Zloty in my pockets. Without thinking much I just decided to give it to a bystander, ~50yo man, and explained in english. I was majorly cussed out by that man, he was extremely furious. A polish teen saw it and happily took the money lol. Maybe this was a cultural thing or a language barrier.
