  1. This is the sort of case where deporting someone straight away probably doesn’t actually serve any form of justice, although I would imagine that the public outcry will mean he might be.

  2. “The court heard that Nur had previously been arrested in the UK for violence and public order offences in December 2024, when he was heard shouting ‘f*** the English’ and ‘white racist b*******’ while trying to run into traffic.

On that occasion, he was said to have headbutted a construction worker, but no charges were brought against him.

But Mr Mably said that the defendant was also known to the police in four European countries – France, Luxembourg, Italy and Germany – in the years before he arrived in the UK, after being arrested for a variety of offences.

In Italy, he was given a one-year suspended sentence in May 2023 for robbery, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and resisting a public official. He was later arrested for various petty offences in the other European countries, including shoplifting, but was never convicted.”

Genuinely, what the hell are we doing? Why did we pay to house this person in tax payer funded accomodation in the community???? This is insanity. Absolute insanity.

How many more innocent people have to die before people understand our current concept of asylum is a relic unsuited to the modern world

  4. I bet some people on here will think this shows just how much he wanted to be in the UK and we should have let him stay.

I saw a similar comment in another thread with 100s of votes, claiming that these people are risking so much to get to the UK, showing how much the UK means to them, far more than most British people, and therefore they should be allowed to stay 🤦

This is why we should be accepting all of their claims. This man would’ve been a safe and worthy asset to this country if only he was accepted. Instead look what happened.
