A dramatic event took place in Okuniew on October 11. A Ukrainian woman returning home with two children – an 11-year-old and a one-year-old daughter, was attacked by a man who had previously collided with her car himself.

After the woman sat down to check the situation, the attacker began challenging, humiliating and attacking her when he learned that she was Ukrainian. Everything was happening in the presence of children.

The woman was injured, but she showed great courage – she called for help and reported the case to the police.

The man has been charged under article 119 of the Criminal Code of Poland – that is, violence motivated by hatred on national grounds.
He faces up to 5 years in prison.

This guy in orange sweatshirt and black gillet is this 11 year old child victim? Camera cuts just as he take a swing at shirtless guy. I dont know the real story, but this narrative doesn’t make sense and dont believe a word of this.

    2. let me guess, many people in the comments on for e.g. FB would have said that he is in his country therefore can do and say whatever he wants

Why polish drunk men are so common in Poland everywhere? Even in public transportation..

I came to Poland in 2014 and it was nothing but friendly.
But unfortunately, later polish politicians play with the fire of nationalism, which makes people believe it is okay to behave like that to a random person, just because they are from Ukraine.

As a “xenophobe”, I’d say it’s not the “xenophobia” that is the problem here, but alcohol abuse and lack of manners in expressing your views at the right place and time in an appropriate way.
