The man who stabbed his schoolmate in the neck in Istanbul said, “I will commit a massacre.” The 13-year-old boy was released on condition of judicial control.

In Beyoğlu, Istanbul, 13-year-old ED stabbed his friend MA, who was studying at the same school, in the neck. The child, who ran away after the incident, was caught by police teams in a short time. It was learned that MA’s life was not in danger and he had 4 stitches on his neck. Suspect ED was released on condition of judicial control in the court.

He Ambushed While Going to School. The incident took place on Thursday, October 30, at around 09:00 in Beyoğlu Hacıahmet District. According to the information obtained, there was an argument between ED and MA, who were studying at the same school. Following the argument, ED left the house with a knife in the morning and blocked MA’s path on the street.

ED waited for a while and stabbed MA in the neck. Injured MA ran screaming for his life. Neighbors who saw the incident took the injured child to Okmeydanı Prof. in Şişli. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu took him to City Hospital.

Police Caught the Suspect in a Short Time It was stated that MA, who was under treatment, had 4 stitches on her neck and was in good condition. Beyoğlu Patrol Teams Headquarters police took action after the incident and quickly caught and detained the escaping ED.

An action was taken against the suspect for “deliberate injury”. While the moment of the incident was also reflected on the security camera, police teams continue the investigation.

He said, “I will commit a massacre, Miraç may not be able to come to school.” Before the incident, it was claimed that ED threatened his friends at school by saying, “There will be a massacre at school tomorrow morning.” It was claimed that MA, who heard these words, had an argument between them because she warned her friend.

MA, who was injured, explained her experiences as follows:

“He was lurking in the back of the car on the way to school in the morning. When he got out, he hit me with a knife. He is psychologically upset, he is teasing everyone. We had closed the issue, but he set an ambush. He told his friends, ‘I will commit a massacre, Miraç may not be able to come to school tomorrow.’ The whole class is complaining about him. I ran home, my father called the ambulance, we went to the hospital in the neighbor’s car. He received 4 stitches there. He was caught, he is now in custody.”

He was Released on Judicial Control. ED, who was referred to the courthouse after his statement, was released on judicial control by the court where he was charged with the crime of “intentional wounding”.
