Aksaray Eskil District Director of National Education reacted to the conversion of the library he built two years ago into a restaurant. The dismissed educator took his own life.

İbrahim Kılıçer, who had been working as the District Director of National Education in Aksaray’s Eskil District for 8 years, committed suicide by hanging himself at his home. A scandalous claim was made after the suicide of a 45-year-old educator. Kılıçer, who has been in Eskil since 2017, has mobilized many opportunities for students in the district. In 2022, Kılıçer had an astronomical library built within the scope of COOP on the land belonging to the previous Eskil District Municipality administration and National Real Estate.

The 2-storey library, which provided a great advantage to students on the path to science, also served locally to retirees. The library was closed after the Mayor of Yeni Eskil, AKP member Mustafa Zavlak, took office. A restaurant was built in place of the library, which belonged to National Real Estate and was used within the scope of the project.

Reacting to the situation, İbrahim Kılıçer and AKP member Mustafa Zavlak came face to face.

It was claimed that Kılıçer was dismissed from his post after an argument between the two.

Kılıçer, who was assigned to a school in Aksaray as a teacher, allegedly fell into depression. A teacher friend of his, who works at the same school in Eskil, found İbrahim Kılıçer motionless, hanging from the ceiling at home, when he went home yesterday morning because he could not reach him by phone many times.
